ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced marine navigation and communication systems aboard commercial vessels, superyachts, and government crafts.
This is a field-based role requiring hands-on expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceptional service delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, commission, and service marine navigation and communication equipment.
- Conduct system diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs onboard vessels.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on-site and remotely.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed service reports and documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
- European citizenship and residency in the Netherlands.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with marine electronics, specifically navigation and communication systems.
- Strong knowledge of IMO-compliant systems and SOLAS requirements.
- Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, travel locally, and respond to urgent service calls.
- Valid driver’s licence.
